The Chopard jewelry themed afternoon tea, prepared with fresh organic materials and precious ingredients, is available at Peacock Alley, a modern and stylish place at Waldorf Astoria Beijing. It offers a wide range of delicate snacks, including Caramel Williams Pear Mousse with Swiss Lindt chocolate, Vanilla Panna Cotta with Honeycomb, White Velvet Cake with Lychee and Coconut Meat, Manuka Honey Cheese Cake, Mountain Cake with Liquid Nitrogen and Self-made Diamond Sugar, which will satisfy the most fastidious palates.
The Mountain Cake with Liquid Nitrogen, presented in a way that resembles the Swiss mountains covered by mist, delights with its fine and soft texture. In addition, the chef team also for the first time introduces New Zealand Manuka honey into the cheese cake. The Manuka honey, whose antibacterial properties set it apart from traditional honey, has many health benefits such as promoting gastrointestinal functions.
