Evelyn’sHutton Hotel’s classic Americana-inspired restaurant located in the heart of Nashville’s West End, is proud to announce the appointment of Mickey Woods as Chef de Cuisine. With over 15 years of experience specializing in Southern cuisine, Chef Woods brings a wealth of knowledge to the role and is eager to share his expertise while continuing to elevate the restaurant’s culinary offerings. 
 
A Tennessee native, Chef Woods launched his career at the Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville, later advancing to positions at the Commodore Hotel and Inn in Linden, Tennessee and The Front Porch in Dickson, Tennessee. His impressive career background includes serving as Chef at Lugo’s in Dickson, Sous Chef at The Grove in College Grove, and Executive Chef at Graymere Country Club in Columbia, Tennessee. Most recently, Chef Woods held a position at Southall Farm & Inn in Franklin, Tennessee, where he oversaw the launch of two new restaurants and developed seasonal menus featuring fresh, farm-grown ingredients.
“I am proud to call Tennessee my home and look forward to continuing my culinary journey here at Evelyn’s,” said Chef Woods. “Working with such a talented team, I’m excited to introduce new dishes while adding my own creative flair to beloved classics. Evelyn’s is a celebration of Southern charm and comfort, and I’m thrilled to contribute to that tradition.”
Making his presence known, Chef Woods is unveiling new seasonal menus at the restaurant, including a weekend brunch available every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The brunch menu features standout dishes such as Benton’s Country Ham Plate with thinly sliced ham, cheese, cranberry mostarda, and sourdough; Evelyn’s Benedict served with buttermilk biscuits, Benton’s country ham, poached eggs, and red-eye hollandaise; and Pumpkin French Toast made with brioche, spiced cream cheese, pumpkin seed streusel, and topped with bourbon maple syrup.
 
With Chef Woods at the helm, Evelyn’s is set to further elevate its reputation as a cornerstone of Southern dining, offering guests exceptional culinary experiences and warm hospitality.
 
Evelyn’s at Hutton Hotel is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am for breakfast, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for lunch, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for cocktail hour, and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner. On Saturdays and Sundays, Evelyn’s serves weekend brunch from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, and dinner from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
