Sea Cloud Cruises to Resume Sailing in Early Summer

Sea Cloud will restart operations this summer with new itineraries in the Mediterranean. All voyages until mid of August 2021 comply with current Covid-19 related restrictions and the company´s hygiene and prevention protocols have been certified by the world´s leading classification society DNV GL. With the inauguration of the new Sea Cloud Spirit, a 452.7-feet (138 metre) long three-masted full-rigged ship, the company will offer cruise-savvy guests in the luxury segment an alternative to larger cruise ships.

The Hamburg shipping company, Sea Cloud Cruises, has cancelled its entire winter program in the Caribbean. “In view of the current development of the Covid-19 pandemic, this necessary step is the only way to give our guests and all our sales partners the peace of mind when planning for future travel,” says Managing Director Daniel Schäfer. With the launch of the Sea Cloud Spirit, they will send three exclusive tall ships on extraordinary sailing trips in European waters, starting in Spring 2021.
