Terranea Resort Turns Pink and offers Halloween Fun in October
Throughout the month of October, Terranea Resort invites guests to participate in a variety of pink events to benefit breast cancer organizations, and Halloween-themed experiences for the entire family. Guests have an accessible option upon booking to donate (minimum of $10) to a Cancer Support Community throughout the month, and Terranea will match each donation.

Dine and enjoy savory and sweet food and beverage items from the culinary team at the dining and bar venues. Terranea Turns Pink offers blush-hued and freshly baked treats, including pink macarons, sugar cookies, and cake and meringue pops at sea beans. The Lobby Bar and Terrace is serving up light bites like their pink Ribbon Oyster with Strawberry Rosé Granita. Sip ONEHOPE Wine Rosé at Nelson’s, The Lobby Bar and Terrace, catalina kitchen, bashi, and mar’sel. Each item will have a portion of the total bill donated to the campaign.

Sea Beans Fall Flavors
Enjoy festive pumpkin spice overnight oats – featuring rolled oats soaked overnight in pumpkin, milktrinity, and agave, and finished with toasted pepitas, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries ($14). Guests may also enjoy Spiced Cider Saturdays each weekend throughout October from 12-5pm, or indulge in pumpkin, apple, and pecan pies, pumpkin tea bread served with cinnamon cream cheese, pumpkin gelato, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Also available for purchase is Terranea’s own housemade Sea Salt, offered in 4oz jars to enhance roasted pumpkin seeds at home.
The coastal escape resort is also hosting Halloween-themed experiences that include a spirit-filled nature walk, spooky family-friendly stories, haunted Kids Club Discovery Garden, zombie archery adventures, and putting tricks and treats at The Links.
Activities
Experience the unique sport of archery at Terranea’s Beach Cove and enjoy sweeping views of Catalina Island along with Halloween-themed adventures that include archery. Instructors from Palos Verdes Archery will provide guests with a bow and arrow, along with expert instruction, followed by shooting practice and games featuring zombies, pumpkins, and other spooky targets. A portion of proceeds will benefit breast cancer support and research. Palos Verdes Archery Lessons will generously match each activity donation. Advanced reservations are required. Fall Photos at pointe discovery
Guests visiting pointe discovery throughout October can participate in a festive fall photo opportunity. Festive Halloween props will be provided and participants are encouraged to share their photos on social media using #Terranea. While there, pick up a map for a Haunted Self-Guided Nature Walk to Point Vicente Lighthouse. According to local legends, there are many supernatural beings hovering around the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Explore the scenic trails and learn more about the Lady in the Light.

Putting on The Links
Also during October, the 9-hole golf course is hosting contests, beverage offerings, and silent auction items for Birdies for Breast Cancer. Proceeds from the event will directly support Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach, which offers a free comprehensive program of emotional support and education to cancer patients and their loved ones, at any stage of their cancer diagnosis.
Halloween Day
Spooky Stories at pointe discovery
Guests are invited to listen to their favorite spooky stories and family-friendly Halloween classics at pointe discovery. Sweet treats from sea beans and costumes are both encouraged on October 31 at 4 pm for this complimentary experience.
The Links on Halloween
On October 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests may head to The Links on Halloween to practice their putting game in costume. Ages 6+ can participate in some festive obstacles that can either trick or treat.
