Celebrating “The Year of Roll ‘n’ Roll” The Edgewater, the iconic Noble House Hotel and the only over-the-water hotel in Seattle, has announced today the addition of a new, luxurious suite paying tribute to legendary Seattle-based band, Pearl Jam. Additionally, the hotel is also revamping its famous Beatles Suite having hosted the band in its heyday and being widely known for the famous image of the band fishing out of a window at the hotel.
The Edgewater has also created a comprehensive music program as an ode to the hotel’s distinct music history. The foundation of the music program focuses on providing guitars and sheet music from local guitar shop, Emerald City Guitars, as well as ION record players and albums from Easy Street Records, as an ode to the hotel’s deep musical past.
As The Edgewater has a renowned reputation for hosting a long list of world-famous musicians, including The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, and Stevie Wonder, the Pearl Jam Suite will act as yet another tribute to the hotel’s rich music history. The new suites are expected to debut in April 2018.
“The new and refreshed spaces pay homage to our unique Pacific Northwest-inspired design and our devotion to preserving the hotel’s profound music history,” said Scott Colee, chief creative officer for Noble House Hotels & Resorts.
The iconic Beatles Suite, which has long been a tribute to the hotel’s famed guests, The Beatles, during their 1964 tour in Seattle, will receive a design refresh, as well as new Beatles memorabilia, turntables, records, and much more for the ultimate fan to indulge in.
Decked out in historic memorabilia, the new Pearl Jam Suite will pay tribute to the iconic band’s storied musical, social and artistic history. Historic tour posters will adorn the space, as well as a vintage Oriental rug, L-shaped couch, floor lamps activated by a guitar pedal, and a new custom bed, among other unique décor. Guests can indulge in the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll experience in the Pearl Jam Suite, which will feature the following:
- Large wall graphics of Pearl Jam fans
- A Pearl Jam curated library of books
- Vinyl turn table and cassette players
- Guitar and fender amps for guest check-out
- Street art of Pearl Jam-related iconography adorned on the walls and furniture
- Set-lists from past shows
- A state of the art sound system, and much more
