Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort – Jazz. Swim. Spa.

Weekends at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa begin on Friday nights with glasses of complimentary sangria and light bites during the weekly ‘Hello Weekend Reception’. Guests gather outside overlooking the Las Brisas pool and golf course to transform into a relaxing vacation vibe.

Prime time to visit the The Westin Mission Hills is from November 2019 through March 2020, when the resort hosts world-class jazz talent once a month during Grooves @ The Westin concerts.

Spiced Sangria

Kickoff of the first concert is the weekend of Friday, Nov. 22 with musical guests Ron King and vocalist Barbara Morrison. King is one of the finest jazz trumpet players, and Morrison is known for her melodic voice and three-and-a-half octave range. Together they sing and play familiar jazz and blues classic.

Kicking off 2020, the first concert of the year is on Saturday, Jan. 18. Musician Ray Parker Jr., is performing with special guest Kevin Toney. Then on Saturday, Feb. 8, Peter White with All-star band including Gregg Karukas and Michael Paulo. On Saturday, March 7, 2020, Rick Braun will perform and special guests.

Staying overnight in one of the 512 spacious rooms and suites, guests are ensured a good night’s sleep on the Westin Heavenly bed fitted with soft Westin sheets, down and feather pillows. Every room has either a desert, garden or golf course view on the ground floor patio or second floor balcony.

westincocktail2Dining options include the modern Italian restaurant Pinzimini featuring breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. The menu offers a lavish breakfast and brunch buffet, plus an array of small antipasti, a variety of pizzas, pasta, egg dishes and paninis. The bar creates handcrafted cocktails, Bellinis, and Italian sodas.

Guests can unwind and cool down at the inviting heated pools. The lively Las Brisas pool area offers a 70-foot waterslide, two hot whirlpools, an outdoor bar, ping pong tables, plenty of lounge chairs, sun beds and personal cabana service. The La Paloma Pool is a quieter area with comfortable lounge chairs, shade umbrellas, and a heated whirlpool.

Spread out over 365-acres, the resort offers a luxury spa, championship lighted tennis courts, kids club, and two championship golf courses.

Guests can enroll in daily golf clinics at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., during October to May. Send the ball soaring as you learn new skills. The 45 minute clinics include a driving range pass for the day and Callaway rental clubs.
