Disney 100 Years of Wonders
Founded in 1923, The Walt Disney Company has been entertaining people for a dazzling 100 Years. Starting on January 27, 2023, 100 Years of Wonder celebrations take place throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks. Here’s what is new to see and do:
The dazzling décor across the Disneyland Parks during the ‘Disney100 Celebration’ begins when you park at Mickey and Friends and take the tram to Downtown Disney. Banners hang on lamp posts throughout the journey displaying the year a Disney movie, ride or attraction debuted.

Once you arrive in Downtown Disney look for the 8-foot platinum medallion announcing Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder. On the West End there is a 15-foot Mickey statue.
Main Street U.S.A
Along the front of Main Street, City Hall, the fire station and storefronts have platinum and royal blue banners announcing ‘100 Years of Wonder’ banners.

Be sure to take a snapshot with a platinum statue of Mickey Mouse in Town Square, as well as a platinum statue of Minnie Mouse in front of Plaza Inn.

Also along Main Street, U.S.A., lamp posts leading guests down to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle are decorated with brilliant banners and bunting that feature the 3 good fairies from Sleeping Beauty, as well as the iconic wishing star.

In the evening Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. become a colorful canvas for 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios storytelling. ‘Wondrous Journeys’ is 100 Years in the making as an enchanting celebration of the wishers, dreamers and artists at Walt Disney Animation Studios who have shared their imagination and talents with the world.

Talented artists transform empty pages brimming with possibility into beloved animated Disney characters set to lively music, and stunning state-of-the-art projection technology. On select nights (check Entertainment Schedule Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks for dates and showtimes) there is a sensational Disneyland Firework show.
Disney California Adventure Park

The gates leading into Disney California Adventure Park have a large ‘100 Years of Wonder’ medallion with stars above California. Festive décor begins at the turnstiles and continues along Buena Vista Street, where there is another 8-foot medallion set in a beautiful flowering garden.

Carthay Circle Theatre and restaurant are decorated for the occasion, offering a beautiful backdrop for friends and family photos. Enchanting Hollywood Land has embellishments inspired by the past 100 years of Disney films.
In the evening, the World of Color – ONE celebrates Disney’s rich storytelling legacy by Walt Disney a century ago, bringing to spectacular life moments from favorite films including The Lion King, Moana, Ratatouille, Soul, Star Wars, The Avengers and more.
Disney Theme park reservations are limited. Valid admission for the same park on the same day are required for park entry.
