A Good Night’s Sleep at Post Ranch Inn

A Good Night’s Sleep at Post Ranch Inn

The month of March is National Sleep Awareness Month and World Sleep Day is mid March on March 15. The Center For Disease Control and Prevention offers 5 tips for a better night’s sleep. Sleep habits that can improve sleep health include:

  • Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends
  • Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature
  • Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom
  • Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime
  • Get some exercise. Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night.

One of the best destinations to implement all five of these practices is the luxury Post Ranch Inn. Opening its doors in 1992, along the magical Big Sur coastline, Post Ranch Inn is about 30 miles south of Carmel. Those traveling from Los Angeles will experience 300 miles of spectacular beauty while driving north. Those living in San Francisco will drive south for 150 miles to reach one of the most luxury destinations in California. Once guests arrive, they can relax and unwind discovering the iconic oceanfront views of the California’s coastline.

Post Ranch Inn has partnered with The Sleep Doctor, Dr. Michael Breus to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to improve guests’ sleep each evening. This sleep program aligns with the property’s therapeutic wellness ethos.
