Chef Jessica Morales to lead Mondrian Mexico City Condesa’s Culinary Program

Located in the vibrant Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City, Mondrian Mexico City Condesa is proud to announce Jessica Morales as its new Executive Chef. With a focus on culturally rich gastronomic offerings, Morales will bring her expertise to lead and elevate the hotel’s culinary program at La TerrazaSkyBar Condesa Rooftop and The Flower Shop – a unique concept store combining flowers, a café, and a wine bar.

With over 11 years of experience, Chef Jessica Morales has extensive knowledge of different cuisines, multi-city restaurant management and the development of culinary menus across the Caribbean, Mexico and Miami. Her cooking style creates rich and authentic culinary experiences by incorporating flavors and traditions of her Dominican heritage. Morales started her career as the first female hibachi Chef in her hometown, Miami, and later participated in a food truck contest part of the Food Network where she came in second place.

As her career progressed, Morales led the opening of multiple Cleo restaurants, a Mediterranean concept which boasted several locations around the world including Baha Mar and Seoul. Most recently, she led the culinary program of SLS Baha Mar, including the menu development for all restaurants on property.

“In a city like Mexico City, known for its world-renowned gastronomy, we are committed to providing the finest service and unforgettable culinary experiences to our guests,” said Claudia Di Gino, General Manager at Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. “We are looking forward to having Chef Jessica Morales join our team and curate a gastronomic journey for travelers and locals with her passion for cuisine and her Dominican background.”

Chef Morales will be the lead of all the culinary experiences at Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. Morales will create different culinary encounters within the property while staying connected to Mexican culture. The Flower Shop will be American inspired with infused Mexican concepts, while La Terraza will be a Mexican and Japanese fusion. Finally, the Sky Bar will provide a twist on the traditional Mexican cuisine. The new menus will launch in the Summer of 2024.
