Negroni Week, Las Vegas: September 13-19 [COCKTAIL TIME]
While Negroni Week activities are happening all over the country (and internationally), Here is a snapshot of some of the cocktails from a few of the participating bars in NYC, LA and Chicago. Kick-off is in Las Vegas. Here are details on how you can get involved and drink for a cause September 13 – 19.
Al Solito Posto Partners with Campari to Kick-Off Negroni Week in Tivoli Village

What: Al Solito Posto is partnering with Campari to host the official kick-off party to their Negroni Week in Las Vegas.

Details: Al Solito Posto is partnering with Campari to host the official kick-off party to Negroni Week in Las Vegas, transforming its bar patio into a festive “Pop-Up” Negroni Bar for the entire week with festive décor and activations.
- Satellite Bar featuring a classic Negroni, two specialty Negroni’s and one Aperol Spritz. $2 from each of these cocktails purchased will go to Keep Memory Alive.
- Selfie Station where guests can take a free selfie. For each person who posts a photo to Instagram or Facebook and tags @AlSolitoPosto, @CampariOfficial and #NegroniWeek, the restaurant will donate an additional $1 to Keep Memory Alive.
- Raffles on the hour, every hour during the kick-off event. One entry ticket will be served with every drink purchased from the satellite bar. A Grand Prize Campari Beach Cruiser will be given away at 8 p.m. Must be present to win.
“At Al Solito Posto, we love Negronis so much we offer 12 ingredients to craft your favorite flavor on our regular menu,” said Director of Beverage David Bonatesta. “So it was a natural for us to partner with Campari during Negroni Week to bring our virtual Negroni Bar to life.”
Negroni Week takes place Sept. 13-19 and is a celebration of one of the world’s greatest cocktails while raising money for charity. The party on the patio will be available on a first come, first-served basis with free entry, and will remain open throughout Negroni Week daily from 4-8 p.m. Reservations for dining inside Al Solito Posto are highly recommended and can be made at alsolito.com. Recipes:
Pink Panther (from Clover Club, New York City)
The Pink Panther, a concoction created by the venerable Julie Reiner and Erin Cusick, adds floral notes to the classic Negroni with gin, Campari, rose vermouth and sorel liqueur.
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Gin
.5 part Campari
1 part Rose Vermouth
.5 part Sorel Liqueur
Stir and strain into a double rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
Caffe Americano (from Dear Irving, NYC):
Both the Gramercy and stunning Times Square rooftop locations will be offering a Caffe Americano – a buzzy mix made with Campari, sweet vermouth, cinnamon and cold brew as a perfect pick-me-up.
Ingredients:
Campari
Sweet Vermouth
Cinnamon
Cold Brew
Shaken and served on crushed ice.
Cielo Bello (from Hotel Figueroa, Los Angeles)
Where tiki and Italy meet, “Cielo Bello” is made with sous vide mango tequila, coconut fat-washed Campari, Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry, orange liqueur, mango syrup, tiki bitters and a pinch of kosher salt.
Ingredients:
1.5 parts sous vide mango Tequila
.75 part Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry
.5 part coconut fat washed Campari
.25 part Clement Créole Shrubb
bar spoon mango syrup
2 dash Bittermens Tiki Bitters
Pinch kosher salt
Little Tokyo (from RedBird, Los Angeles)
A Japanese interpretation, “Little Tokyo,” combines sake, Campari, Aperol, Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso, and yusuf juice – and still sings all the notes of a classic Negroni.
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Sake
.75 part Campari
.25 part Aperol
.75 part Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso
.25 part Yusuf Juice
Poleo Negroni (from Bar Sótano, Chicago)
Using a house mezcal blend, Bar Sótano’s “Poleo Negroni” is stirred with Campari and sweet vermouth, and garnished with a beautiful micro Poleo flower.
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Sótano Banhez Espadin/Barril
.75 part Sweet vermouth
.50 part Campari
Garnish with micro Poleo
Ruby Oaxaqueña (from Cindy’s Rooftop, Chicago)
A cocktail and view at Cindy’s with their “Ruby Oaxaqueña” – a smoky, floral take on the classic Negroni, made with pea flower-infused mezcal, Campari and white vermouth.
Ingredients:
1 part Pea Flower-infused Mezcal
1 part Campari
1 part White Vermouth
Spritz of Pechuga Mezcal
