We know travel isn’t always pet-friendly. As we welcome the warmer weather, many of us are looking to celebrate spring + summer and enjoy a rejuvenating getaway with our furry family, instead of without. 

Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s extraordinary portfolio of 30 brands, offers some great choices for those of us looking for a pet-friendly stay, and who know how real the struggle is to find one.

Element Sacramento Airport

Aloft Hotels

• To help pets feel right at home, Aloft has developed the Animals R Fun Program (ARF) program, giving a little special treatment to four-legged family members at no additional cost to guests.

• Aloft pets receive a complimentary ARF kit which includes their own bowl, picker upper bags, tasty treats, a dog tag, pet toys, and their very own signature bed. Aloft welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds. 

• Additionally, several Aloft properties across the country offer unique amenities and programs including a Foster Dog Adoption Program (at Aloft Asheville, Aloft Orlando Downtown, Aloft Tallahassee Downtown, and Aloft Greenville); an outdoor rooftop path with artificial turf for dog walking + running (Aloft Asheville) and custom-built dog houses (hotel replicas!) at Aloft Orlando Downtown, Aloft Tallahassee Downtown).

Element Hotels

• All Element by Westin hotels (which tend to target health and environmentally conscious travelers) welcome dogs weighing up to 40 pounds. As part of their Love that Dog program, Element provides a signature dog bed, food and water bowls, waste bags for easy cleanup, and more. 

Moxy Hotels

• Certain Moxy Hotels offer additional pet amenities. For instance, four-legged guests of Moxy NYC Times Square receive treats at check-in, and pets visiting Moxy Chattanooga Downtown receive treats and bowls. At Moxy NYC Chelsea, guests can book the “House Pet” package and receive a custom Moxy dog bowl and blanket to take home.

  

  Moxy Memphis Downtown

• Certain Moxy Hotels have staff dogs on property. Moxy New Orleans, for instance, is home to Mox, a rescue dog who was selected from a local shelter, trained by Off Leash K9 Training Program (a Moxy brand standard) and integrated into the hotel management team to become 100% off-leash capable at the property.  

TownePlace Suites and Residence Inn:

• Both brands are 100% pet-friendly; a maximum of 2 (domesticated) pets per room are permitted at every property. Rates are subject to property discretion.
