THE BASTION COLLECTION’S LE JARDINIER RETAINS MICHELIN STAR IN NEW YORK

The Bastion Collection’s Le Jardinier New York is honored to retain One Star in the 2023 Michelin Guide. Named after the French word for “gardener,” Le Jardinier is a collaborative culinary experience crafted by the Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli and global hospitality group The Bastion Collection. Le Jardinier earned its first Michelin Star six months after opening in 2019, and retained One Star just four weeks after its post-pandemic reopening in 2022. With the reveal of the latest list, Le Jardinier New York has held a Michelin Star for every year it has been open, and reinforces The Bastion Collection’s commitment to culinary innovation and excellence. 

Rooted in the refined elegance of French culinary technique, the menu, overseen by Executive Chef Andrew Ayala, celebrates seasonality with dishes that encapsulate the land’s rich offerings on every plate, reflecting the rhythm of nature. This ethos also defines the dessert and pastry program, led by Corporate Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone, which focuses on ingredients that take the form of whimsical and artistic delights that push the boundaries of a traditional pastry program.

The Bastion Collection, a subsidiary of Crest Investment Company, is an internationally renowned restaurant group with five distinctive culinary concepts, boasting a total of nine Michelin Stars awarded since 2019. The group opened additional locations of Le Jardinier and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Geneva, Switzerland (2021) and reopened the original Le Jardinier in New York City (2022) after a two year closure due to the pandemic. Le Jardinier New York retained a Michelin Star upon reopening, following in the footsteps of Le Jardinier Miami, which was awarded a star a few months prior and a second star in 2022. Most recently, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Geneva earned two Michelin Stars, an additional star than the year prior. With upcoming plans of expanding its concepts and restaurants, The Bastion Collection also launched an entirely new concept in 2023 – Bar Bastion, an art-deco inspired cocktail bar located above Le Jardinier New York.

Le Jardinier is open for dinner service six nights a week Monday through Saturday, 5:30pm – 10:00pm, and lunch service five days a week Monday through Friday, 11:30am – 2:00pm.
