Fall Rye Whiskey Cocktails from Sagamore Spirit
As the crisp autumn air sets in and the leaves turn brilliant hues of amber and gold, there’s no better way to celebrate the season than with a cocktail that captures its essence. Our friends at Sagamore Spirit, have shared with us a couple of cocktails that embody the warm, rich flavors of fall. Celebrate throughout the season with Fall Rye Whiskey cocktails.
Sagamore Boulevardier
Ingredients:
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Garnish: Dehydrated Orange
Directions: Add Sagamore Small Batch Rye Whiskey, campari and sweet vermouth into a
mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Pour into a rocks glass over an ice cube.
Garnish with a dehydrated orange.
Sagamore Sazerac
Ingredients:
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
4 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
.25 oz Simple Syrup
.25 oz Absinthe (rinse)
Garnish: Lemon Peel
Directions: Add Sagamore Small Batch Rye Whiskey, bitters, simple syrup, and ice into a mixing glass. Stir until cold. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard excess. Strain into a rocks glass and rim with a lemon twist garnish.
