Four Seasons Hotel Singapore Ups the Luxury Ante
A Star is Reborn
It may take nine months to have a baby, but the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore took a full 12 months to birth their new look of luxury. Nowhere is it better showcased than in The Suite Collection. Perhaps rebirth is a more fitting description since it was the same interior design team of Hirsch Bedner Associates as they were responsible for the original interior in 1994! Their brand-new colour palette draws its inspiration from the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and close to the hotel.
Four Seasons Hotel Singapore unveils luxury themed suites.
How Suite It Is
Each of the four unique and distinctive suite residences, is an homage to the cosmopolitan and dynamic nature of Singapore and its history and legacy.
The Royal Suite (1,615 sq. ft.)
Its name says it all. Perched on the 18th floor, the Royal Suite draws its inspiration from the tropical splendour from its UNESCO World Heritage Site neighbor, the Singapore Botanical Gardens. With a newly added open pantry and open layout, it is ideal for relaxed and casual entertaining. Think rattan, cane, linen, palm trees and jungle greens.
Governor Suite (1,798 sq. ft.)
Positioned for privilege and the exclusivity of the top floor of the hotel and overlooking the boulevard below, pear wood mill-work, stylish contemporary smoky grey furnishings, with dark wood detailing and amber tones hit the mark to create a smart, yet stately ambience.
Ambassador Suite (1,798 sq. ft.)
This 19th floor suite exudes a unique flavor with more than a dash of culture. With the colourful intricate designs of the kamcheng pottery featured in this suite, you can’t help but delve into the Peranakan heritage that blossomed since the 15th Century with inter-marriages between the local Straits community and non-Straits descendants, reflecting Singapore’s position as a major trading port. This cross-cultural influence is very evident in the distinctive art styles, fashion, language and food. Contrast the pottery with the chic modern furniture in turquoise, grey and dusty rose.
Presidential Suite (2,131 sq. ft.)
Also on the 19th floor, not everything is black and white on the presidential level. With a dash of gold, this suite exemplifies the journey of Singapore from colonial outpost to a modern nation. It is inspired by the grand colonial houses that still stand proudly on the island. It boasts a breath-taking view of the city skyline. Sleek contemporary furniture in a black, white and persimmon scheme complements the existing pear wood mill-work and iconic black marble floor.
Life Beyond the Rooms
All 255 guest rooms will ensure families and business travelers are immersed in sophisticated comfort with plush interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows providing natural light and panoramic views of the city and the surrounding greenery. Its just steps from the city’s shopping and commercial heart, with convenient access to both the Central Business District and the main tourist attractions.
In addition to the exquisitely renovated rooms, unwind with an ultimate in restorative experiences in the city’s first L’Occitane Spa featuring treatments like the Néroli & Orchidée, a rejuvenating scrub and massage performed by one of the Hotel’s skilled therapists.
