Hawaii Food & Wine Festival on Magnificent Maui
This year’s Hawaii Food & Wine Festival theme is “Taste Our Love for the Land” which promotes Hawaii’s local agricultural and fishing industries by producing world-class culinary experiences.
Maui is one the Hawaiian Islands having special events at the 11th annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival in December with some on Kaanapali Beach. This culinary event encourages and enlightens residents and visitors to care for the Hawaiian culture and natural environment.
Hawaiian Airlines presents Now You See It, Now You Don’t on December 8, 2021, at Humble Market Kitchin by Roy Yamaguchi. It’s a magical culinary performance by chefs creating delicious dishes on your plate one minute and gone the next. Humble Market Kitchin’s Executive Chef Matt Dela Cruz is joined by one of Maui’s finest, chef Taylor Ponte. These award-winning talents collaborate to prepare a five-course dinner paired with premium wines and sweeping Wailea Beach views.
Set along the stunning Kaanapali coast, at Roy’s Kaanapali on December 9, 2021 locals and visitors unite for Mahi Pono presents Local Boys are No Ka Oi. It’s a reunion of some of the Islands’ most beloved homegrown chefs. As they return to their roots, they will celebrate the simple joys of Ohana with a homecoming feast. The chefs include Chung Chow, Graham Elliot, Troy Guard and Jessie Anacleto of Roy’s Kaanapali preparing a five-course menu featuring the freshest produce and top local ingredients from Hawaii.
The final event of the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival is on December, 10 + 11 with food, beverages and golf at the 24th annual Roy Yamaguchi Golf Classic at the Kaanapali Golf Course. Play 18 holes with community leaders and celebrity chefs including Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong while sampling premium pours and local style bites on this beautiful course.
