Sustainable tree hotel My Arbor becomes new Green PearlsⓇ partner
With the hotel that, Green PearlsⓇ has added another sustainable hotel in South Tyrol – and a very special tree hotel at that! The unique accommodation is located near Brixen and built on 34-meter-high stilts in the middle of a spruce forest. Allowing guests to sleep high up between the treetops. In addition, there is a specially developed wellness concept and culinary offer which each guest can tailor to their own liking.
Year-round destination in the Plose hiking and skiing area
The Plose is a South Tyrolean Mountain range with several peaks and it’s a popular area for hiking, winter sports, and nature recreation. It is here, about a 10-minute drive from Brixen, that the tree hotel My Arbor is located. It consists of 104 suites, ranging from a cozy double room to a 100-square-meter dream apartment. All of them are equipped with a balcony offering a magnificent view of the valley.
By the way: Despite its unusual construction, the tree hotel is barrier-free and has wheelchair-accessible rooms.
The complex includes a 2,500-square-meter spa area featuring a sauna landscape (five saunas, cozy huts, and cold pools), an infinity pool overlooking the mountains, a panoramic whirlpool, and a yoga room, as well as ten special rooms for spa treatments. All under the sign of the tree. Based on a questionnaire, guests are assigned to a specific type of tree (larch, stone pine, mountain pine, and spruce) and treated according to its properties.
The “My” Philosophy in the My Arbor
At My Arbor, guests are invited to vacation at their own pace and in accordance with their own mood. Breakfast till noon? Swimming after sunset? Active vacation or relaxation. At My Arbor, the I may simply be, and time taken for oneself.
The team at the family-owned hotel will gladly advise guests – from spa and wine recommendations to informative discussions with the hotel’s own certified bread sommelier.
Eco-friendly initiatives at Hotel My Arbor
The My Arbor has been recognized as a new Green Pearl for its sustainable initiatives. The Tree Hotel is, for example, an active participant in the zero-waste movement, eliminating the use of plastic and disposable products as much as possible. An on-site photovoltaic system is under construction to generate electricity, and guests are encouraged to travel car-free. There is also a shuttle service to the Brixen train station, and e-bikes and e-cars are available for on-site mobility. Furthermore, guests will be provided with the BrixenCard, allowing them to use the public transportation system in the region free of charge, among other benefits.
