Whiskey Girl Celebrates National Whiskey Day
Attention, world: Whiskey is not just a dude drink. Like guys, girls can drink whiskey straight up playing poker. Girls can drink whiskey in a hotel bar waiting for a blind date. Girls can also drink de-freaking-licious whiskey mixed drinks while they’re pre-gaming a night downtown to the hottest new club. So now that we have cleared up that little myth, let us bring to your attention that today, Saturday, May 21, 2016, is World Whiskey Day!
We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 favorite recipes from Whiskey Girl. So pick one (or all five!), gather together your girlfriends, and show the guys in your life how real women drink whiskey.
Skinny Dip Martini
1.5 oz Whiskey Girl Peach
.5 oz orange liqueur
.25 oz cranberry juice
.25 oz sparkling brut
1 mint leaf to garnish
In a cocktail shaker, combine Whiskey Girl Peach, orange liqueur,
cranberry juice and ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled
martini glass. Top with a float of sparkling brut, then garnish
with a mint leaf.

Carolina Apple Mule
2 oz Whiskey Girl Apple & Maple
1 oz ginger beer
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup
Lime wedge
In an ice-filled glass, combine all ingredients.
Stir gently and garnish with a lime wedge.
Pineapple Upside Down
2 oz Whiskey Girl Butterscotch
2 oz pineapple juice
.25 oz cherry syrup
2 dashes of vanilla extract
Cherry to garnish
Combine ingredients into a shaker full of ice. Shake and strain
over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry.

2 oz Whiskey Girl Peach
3 oz tonic
Lime wedge
Combine ingredients into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a lime.

Buttery Java
3 oz iced coffee
2 oz Whiskey Girl Butterscotch
.5 oz coffee liqueur
.5 oz condensed milk or cream
In a mixing glass, add all ingredients. Shake with ice. Strain over fresh
ice into a rocks glass.
