Stay in Central London

London is a huge city that is made up of several different areas, but we recommend that, when finding a place to stay for your trip, you stay in central London. While accommodation in central London is bound to be more expensive than accommodation on the outskirts of the city, you will save yourself money as you won’t have to travel into the centre every day.

There are a lot of things to see and do in London and you don’t want to be wasting your precious time and money on a tube or train. Check out areas like Soho, Bankside, Covent Garden, and South Bank if you want to stay in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London.

Visit Some of the Less Well-Known Venues

While the city is full of many well-known and branded bars and restaurants, we recommend that you spend some time exploring the unique and independent establishments that are representative of the London way of life. For example, there are Live music restaurants in London that are very popular amongst visitors. If you are interested in these restaurants then you should be sure to check out the Boisdale restaurants that are located across London, including Canary Wharf and Mayfair. Here you can enjoy bespoke events in London’s greatest live music restaurants.

Avoid Bank Holidays

While you should expect London to be busy all year round and at any time of the day, it is particularly busy during bank holidays. Therefore, if you want to enjoy as much of the city as you can without queues then we suggest that you avoid visiting on public holidays.

Don’t Expect to See Everything

As we mentioned earlier, there are many different things to do and see in London, from visiting Buckingham Palace to listening to the chimes of Big Ben. However, it is unrealistic to expect to see everything during your trip as the city has so much to offer. Therefore, we do recommend that for your first visit, you try and stay for around 4-5 days!

By following our tips and advice, you can make the most of your first trip to London and explore everything that the amazing city has to offer.
