Dining at Terranea

Executive Chef Andrew Vaughan oversees eight distinctive dining venues. He and his staff create innovative menus for hotel guests, those attending meetings, weddings and special events. “Andrew brings over 27 years of luxury culinary experience, talent and management skills to this position,” said Ralph Grippo, president of Terranea Resort. “We know he will continue to elevate Terranea’s acclaimed culinary program by outsourcing the best seasonal products, applying well-executed classic techniques and keeping flavor profiles clean and distinctive.”

Terranea’s bountiful herb and vegetable gardens, lemon groves, and Sea Salt Conservatory salts are used for fresh ingredients at the oceanfront mar’sel for sophisticated gourmet cuisine. Also at bashi the eclectic menu is filled with Asian delights and local flavors paired with creative cocktails and whiskey flights.

Another favorite outdoor dining venue for lunch and dinner is the more casual Nelson’s. Diners sit at tables and picnic benches along a bluff for guacamole and chips, tacos, burgers, and salads.
