This beloved Napa Valley Winery excitedly unveiled their new and approachable California Collection on June 26, 2024. This refreshed collection is available at an affordable price point for all different types of wine lovers.

Diamond Mountain Ranch

Their vineyards include Diamond Mountain Ranch, west of the town of Calistoga, near the top of the Diamond Mountain American Viticultural Area (AVA). They also grow grapes at Bear Flats Estate Vineyard, north of the town of St. Helena along the slopes from Highway 29 to the Napa River. This location within the Calistoga AVA of Napa Valley allows the vineyard to experience hotter day time temps, following cool mornings that extend the ripening period.

One of Sterling’s estate vineyards is south of the town of Calistoga, astride the Napa River. Comprised of 45 acres of alluvial loam soil that is exclusively for Sauvignon Blanc fruit. The cooling influence of the Napa River ensures cool mornings followed by hot days allowing for longer ripening period developing a bright varietal expression.

They also make Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon north of St. Helena, on the east side of Highway 29 at Larsen Ranch. This 50 acre location has alluvial clay loam on both sides of the Napa River.

At the 53 acre Tamagni Estate Vineyard just south of the town of Calistoga, between the Silverado Trail and the Napa River, this vineyard primarily grows Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. These varieties thrive in this property’s sandy loam, clay loam, and alluvial loam soils.
