Harlem Standard & Divine Chocolate infused Take on the Manhattan
Concocted by Keitha Clarkson, Harlem Standard’s Brand Mixologist
Ingredients:
Divine Chocolate 70% bar, infused with the bourbon and then filtered
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes angostura bitters
Orange Peel
Harlem Standard Bourbon and Divine chocolate infusion method:
The chocolate is softened using a double boiler method or hot plate on low. Once the chocolate is half melted or softened, the bourbon is added and stirred for about 15 seconds and left to rest for about an hour in a sealed jar. The mixture is then filtered using a coffee filter.
Method:
Stir all the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice for about 30 seconds. Strain and serve up in a chilled coupe. Garnish with an expressed orange peel and chocolate.
