Celebrate National Chocolate Day with a Drink [COCKTAIL TIME]

Celebrate National Chocolate Day with a Drink [COCKTAIL TIME]

This year for National Chocolate Day (October 28), why not celebrate with cacao in its oldest form? That is: In a drink! Ok, maybe a cocktail isn’t really what the ancient Mexicans had in mind, but they also didn’t have Whiskeysmith Chocolate Flavored Whiskey.

Whiskeysmith Chocolate (SRP $23.99) forges together the rich and velvety essence of chocolate with notes of vanilla and subtle spice found only in true oak-aged whiskey, blended to create a perfect pairing. It was awarded a Gold medal in the 2020 John Barleycorn Awards.

Whiskysmith is dedicated to creating bold spirits in their home state of Colorado, drawing inspiration from the world around them to create whiskeys that can be sipped on their own or add an incredible depth of flavor to any cocktail. Whiskeysmith’s line of flavored whiskeys are a great starting point to create unique individual experiences or to be enjoyed in a Chocolate Truffle Whiskey Sour or a Cocoa Woah Old Fashioned, any day of the year.

COCOA WOAH OLD FASHIONED

FLAVOR: CHOCOLATE

Cocoa: anthropologists study it, manufacturers blend it, we distilled a whiskey with it. But nevertheless, truly cherished from its start. The union of orange bitters and Whiskeysmith Chocolate set this classic old fashioned recipe apart from its peers.

Try for yourself.
