San Angelo Pinot Grigio: A Pinot Grigio for the Non Pinot Grigio Drinker [COCKTAIL TIME]

As the weather gets warmer and you find yourself reaching for refreshing, white wines, Banfi San Angelo Pinot Grigio is the perfect Pinot Grigio for the non Pinot Grigio drinker! Banfi San Angelo Pinot Grigio is the first 100% varietal Pinot Grigio to ever be produced in Montalcino, Tuscany.

Elegant and balanced with crisp citrus notes, San Angelo Pinot Grigio has a unique Tuscan character that distinguishes it from its northern counterparts. A combination of great southern facing slopes, close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, warmer days with still very cool nights and naturally mineral-rich, salinity-driven soils make this a truly well-rounded wine.

2022- San Angelo Pinot Grigio, Montalcino – $19.99, 12.5% ABV

Banfi, producer and importer of fine wines, was founded in 1919 and is today woman-owned and operated by third generation family proprietor Cristina Mariani-May. Banfi is the sole U.S. importer of the Mariani family’s internationally renowned wine estates in Italy: Castello Banfi of Montalcino, Tuscany, and Banfi Piemonte of Strevi, Piedmont. For this wine, fermentation takes place at a low temperature, which leaves a small and natural effervescence and is then stored for a few months after the harvest. On the nose, notes of pear, peach, anise and honey. On the Palate, Fruity and crisp for a refreshing taste.
