10 Features I Like About The 2022 Lexus LC 500

Recently when a 2022 Lexus LC 500 drove down my driveway, I liked the sound of the 5.0-liter V8 engine. This car has 471-Horsepower and can get from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds. Enjoying the car for one week, I took it on a trip to Dana Point. Getting on the freeway, I stepped on the pedal and the car roared and zoomed up the onramp with ease. This beautiful grand touring sports car has no turbo chargers, and when it’s revved up, it almost sounds like a Corvette Stingray.

Here are 10 other features I like about this luxury car:

  1. It’s slick design elements and eye-catching Cadmium Orange color had heads turn. In the sun, this gorgeous car sparkles a golden hue. Lexus started developing their most desirable automobile in 1989, as a V8, rear-wheel-drive. It’s been in production ever since and now the fifth generation is even better. The enlarged hood offers a sense of power and presence.

2. The innovative design of the flush exterior door handles go into motion with the push of the unlock button on the key fob. Approaching the vehicle, the handles gracefully extend outward, and the LEDs illuminate. As the doors close, or after 15 seconds, the lighting fades.

3. The LC’s low center of gravity is closely aligned with the driver’s hip point. The luxury leather and suede material bolstered high-back sport seats connect the driver to the road like never before. They are extremely supportive and comfortable seats. There are also two small seats in the back for shopping bags, pet or child. The area is too cramped for adults to sit in the back.

4. Gripping the elegant steering wheel it fits the contours of the driver’s hand. The design of an elliptical grip measures the distribution of palm pressure during circuit driving to provide the optimal turning when cornering with high G-forces. There are magnesium paddle shifters on the wheel for manual drive.

5. Projected on the bottom of the windshield is a Head Up Display (HUD) offering road speed limit, the car’s speed, gear and other relevant information. This allows the driver to keep focus on the road without glancing away.

6. The angular rear end has multi-dimensional taillights that make the design look fierce. They were inspired by the dramatic glow of a jet’s afterburners. Producing an infinite mirror effect, they feature 80 LEDs on either side. This evocative design creates an impressive depth and dimensional illumination. When turned off the sleek gray surface is revealed.

7. There is a 10-speed electronically controlled Direct-Shift transmission and five driving modes to select: Eco, Comfort, Manual, Sport and Sport+.

8. The thirteen speaker Mark Levinson provides a high-fidelity surround sound system.

9. Apple CarPlay lets the driver access iPhone apps, iTunes, Google Maps, Waze and Spotify through the touchscreen. The driver and passenger can make calls, send messages and navigate with voice commands using Siri.

10. Getting 25 MPH highway and 16 MPG city, the Lexus LC 500 starts at $94,225. It also comes in a hybrid model for $100,225 and a convertible starting at $102,275. The Lexus LC 500 Inspiration starts at $105,575 and it’s convertible model begins at  $116,655.
