Caesars Properties Reopen in Las Vegas

Since 1937, Caesars Entertainment Corporation has grown through development of new resorts, expansions and acquisitions. Caesars Entertainment’s resorts operate primarily under the Caesars®, Harrah’s® and Horseshoe® brand names.

Recently they announced the following Caesars properties will reopen on June 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. The Company intends to comply with all reopening and operating directives from Nevada’s Governor Steve Sisolak, the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and public health authorities.

“Initial customer demand to visit the Las Vegas Strip has been much stronger than anticipated, triggering our decision to reopen Harrah’s Las Vegas, in addition to Caesars Palace, Flamingo and LINQ Promenade, next week,” said Tony Rodio, CEO, Caesars Entertainment. “We look forward to welcoming back guests and employees to a casino resort environment where our enhanced health and safety protocols will be highly visible, including social distancing, frequent cleaning and sanitizing throughout the properties, as well as daily health screenings for all employees who will be at work,” Rodio added.

The Caesar Company is suspending fees for paid self-parking in Las Vegas. Guests visiting Caesars Palace will find a variety of food and beverage amenities open including Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN (dinner only), Old Homestead Steakhouse, DiFara Pizza, and Cafe’ Americano. Table configurations have been adjusted to allow for appropriate social distancing. High touch items are cleaned and disinfected between guests, or replaced with disposable versions. Hand sanitizer is provided at entrances, which guests are encouraged to use upon arrival.

Guests will be able to order from Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Vista Lounge, Spanish Steps Bar, Lobby Bar, and Montecristo Cigar Bar that have been arranges to allow for proper social distancing, A selection or retail and restaurant outlets at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace are reopening. Bartenders will provide hand sanitizer to every arriving customer.

Guests will have access to outdoor pools, including Venus Pool. Cabanas and lounge chairs have been arranged to allow for appropriate social distancing. Seating will be cleaned and disinfected between guest use. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the area.

Inside the Casino floor slot machines banks have been arranged to allow for proper social distancing. Machines are disinfected regularly throughout the day. Hand sanitizer stations are available near slot banks.

At the tables, they are limiting the guests at each table to allow for appropriate social distancing. Three players per blackjack / pai gow / carnival game table; Four players per roulette / poker table; Six players per craps table. Guests can not congregate behind players at a gaming table. Where possible, procedures have been adjusted to allow only dealers to touch cards. High touch gaming items (dice, chips, etc.) will be routinely disinfected, and cards will be refreshed more frequently. Dealers will provide hand sanitizer to every arriving player.

The Flamingo Las Vegas all-in-one casino and resort reopens their Beach Club Resort and GO Pool – a 15-acre Caribbean-style water playground, and rooms with great views of the 550-foot-tall High Roller. Located at the center of the Strip and adjacent to The LINQ and High Roller, beverage and dining venues reopened include X Bar, Bugsy’s Bar and Pizza To Go. The LINQ Promenade will have retail and restaurant outlets open, and the High Roller Observation Wheel will reopen from noon to midnight daily.

Upon reopening, Harrah’s Las Vegas it will be debuting a $200 million multi-year resort transformation featuring newly renovated rooms and suites, a remodeled casino floor and hotel lobby, Buddy Valastro’s PizzaCake and the recently refreshed Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Harrah’s Las Vegas, Caesars Palace and Flamingo Las Vegas have implemented new health and safety protocols, focusing on the well-being of team members, guests and the community. Health screenings will be conducted on all employees before they return to work and employees will be screened every workday thereafter. They are required to wear masks at work, and hotel guests will undergo temperature screenings before check in and are strongly encouraged to wear masks to protect themselves and employees.
