Does everyone want to own Carrie Bradshaw’s closet? Maybe. There’s so many iconic trends inspired by the New York fashionista, including her beloved Malono Blahnik shoes, Fendi Baguette Bag and signature mixture of high and low fashion.

With a total trendsetter score of 8.3/10, over 17,000 Instagram posts capturing the character’s style, along with over 1,000 Pinterest pins and over 1,400 monthly Google searches around the globe for Carrie’s style and outfits, it comes as no surprise that this fashion mogul takes the crown in JOOR’s list.

In second position is HBO hit Euphoria’s Maddy Perez – and did real teens of the noughties do Y2K fashion better than her? Doubtful. This ultimate It-girl has inspired trends across the globe from daring cut-outs, dramatic eyeliner, mandatory crop tops and faux fur collars. Her most replicated look was the I.AM.GIA purple cut-out two piece set, which cemented her status as a fashion icon.

Maddy boasts a trendsetter score of 7.3/10 thanks to the 5,000 Instagram posts tagging her style, over 1,000 Pinterest pins and over 1,600 searches per month on average for her outfits.

Fact: Gossip Girl is one of the most iconic TV shows for its ever inspiring wardrobe department, still demanding its own fashion legacy 17 years after its initial release. So it comes as no surprise that the show’s leading fashion guru, Blair Waldorf, secured third place on this list with a total score of 7.1/10.

Her most inspiring looks consist of sophisticated yet preppy styles, including headbands, bows, tailored blazers, luxurious prints and statement accessories, making her signature look timelessly elegant. This stylish persona explains why she boasts the most Instagram posts (32,600) of anyone on the list, over 800 Pinterest pins and over 4,000 monthly searches for inspiration from her style.

Rounding off the top 5 are Emily Cooper (7/10), who’s inspiring wardrobe consists of bright colours, bold prints and chic outerwear, and Rachel Green (7/10), who’s 90’s fashion includes minimalist silhouettes, slip dresses and expert layering.
