National Sidecar Day is around the corner (July 30th), and there is no better way to celebrate than with Rémy Martin!

Crafted in the early 1920s, this classic cocktail has stood the test of time with its simple yet refined three-ingredient recipe: Rémy Martin, Cointreau, and Lemon Juice. This perfectly balanced cocktail evokes true luxury, bringing an air of sophistication with every sip and celebration.

To help you keep the celebration going, Rémy Martin mixed up three new twists on the classic cocktail that are perfect for summer, including the Belle Sidecar, Lychee Sidecar, and Spritz Sidecar. Enjoy!

The Sidecar

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal
  • ¾ oz Cointreau
  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice

Directions:

  • Pour 2 oz of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord, ¾ oz of Cointreau and ¾ oz of Lemon Juice into a shaker filled with ice
  • Shake, strain and pour into a coupette glass
  • Finish with lemon peel for freshness

Belle Sidecar

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 0.5 oz Belle De Brillet

Directions:

  • Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice
  • Shake, strain and pour into a coupette glass
  • Finish with lemon peel for freshness

Lychee Sidecar

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 0.5 oz Lychee Liqueur

Directions:

  • Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice
  • Shake, strain and pour into a coupette glass
  • Garnish with lychee

Spritz Sidecar

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz Tonic Water
  • 1 oz Champagne

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shake expect champagne and tonic water
  • Shake until well chilled
  • Strain over ice into a highball glass and top with champagne and tonic water
  • Garnish with orange peel or slice
