JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, in collaboration with Swan Hellenic, launched Maris, a culinary experience that promises to redefine high-end cruise gastronomy. JRE chefs embark on exclusive cultural expedition cruises aboard Swan Hellenic’s luxurious designer ships. Daniel Lehmann, President of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs and chef at restaurant Moosegg in Emmenmatt, Switzerland will embark on the Swan Hellenic SH Diana with his culinary excellence as it sails from Tromsø to Amsterdam “On the Trail of the Vikings” voyage from July 29 to August 8, 2023.

JRE chefs take guests on a voyage of gastronomic discovery, exploring their culinary creativity fueled by a passion for tradition, sustainability, and quality local ingredients. Chef Daniel Lehmann, a Swiss chef and President of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, renowned for his innovative approach to regional cuisine will be joining the Maris initiative.

The passionate chef-owner Daniel Lehmann joined his parents and the team of Hotel Moosegg in 2007 and took over the Management in 2011. The restaurant, with 16 Gault Millau points will spoil you with excellent quality and service. As a long-standing member and current President of the Jeunes Restaurateurs, he represents Switzerland already for many years.

Guests will sail through the land of the midnight sun on this sensational 10-night boutique expedition cruise. Leaving from Tromsø, 250 miles above the Arctic Circle, guests will head to the Lofoten Islands, slip into breathtaking fjords, experience the untouched beauty of mighty glaciers, wild waterfalls, and snow-covered mountain peaks before sailing south.

Guests will also indulge in Daniel’s signature dishes, will enjoy a specially curated menu for a Gala Dinner, and will attend a captivating cooking show. Daniel will also lead gastronomic excursions ashore, providing an opportunity to explore local culinary traditions and specialties. Guests will immerse themselves in the local cultures and socialize with Daniel throughout their voyage in the Swan Hellenic cultural expedition cruise tradition. Guests will arrive in Amsterdam knowing they have been on a voyage they will never forget.
