Lunar New Year at Disneyland

Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park now through Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019. Guests have the opportunity to experience multicultural treats and drinks with the 2019 Lunar New Year Sip and Savor Pass.

The pass costs $36 for annual passholders, and $39 for non-passholders. You receive a big laminated card attached to a lanyard to wear it around your neck. On the card are six tags that one tears off when ordering small plates and beverages. Guests may purchase items a la carte too.

Chinese New Year Disney

 

While walking through Disney’s California Adventure, visitors can listen to live entertainment and watch musical performances, including the enhanced Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession. Mulan and her dragon friend Mushu are accompanied with beautiful Chinese umbrella and ribbon dancers, drummers, dragon dancers, and the Three Little Pigs are the guests of honor to kick off The Year of The Pig.

Other performers include a premiere Melody of China music ensemble based in San Francisco. These three woman play the Chinese Dulcimer, Chinese Lute and Chinese Fiddle.

There is an arts and crafts area among beautiful décor, and themed merchandise for the souvenirs for the entire family.
