“The French Connection” by Artisan Mixologist Lucas Huff
A third of the world’s best-selling cocktails are gin based – now here’s one drink to feature for World Gin Day, which takes place on this Saturday, June 13th.
Bently Heritage Estate Distillery in Minden, NV has created their one-of-a-kind cocktail aptly named “The French Connection.” Made with the Estate Distillery’s Award-Winning Juniper Grove Atrium Gin, Artisan Mixologist Lucas Huff, created this cocktail, which incorporates a series of unique flavors that harmonize beautifully. On the front you’re immediately faced with a bright floral note form the lavender based gin. As the cocktail progresses across the palate you begin to identify herbaceous bitter notes complimented by fresh tarragon. The lemon juice and orange and cognac of Grand Marnier round out the mix and you’re left with a clean finish. Perfect for enjoying on the deck under the June sun while connecting virtually with your loved ones.
About Bently Heritage Estate Distillery:
Bently Heritage is inspired by the distilleries of the old world. We use only our own grains grown right here on our ranch in Nevada. Bently Ranch sustainably grows and harvests winter rye, wheat, oats, and barley which we malt in-house, on our own malting floor. Our home is the more than 100-year-old Minden flour mill and creamery which both sit proudly on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, they have been restored to modern LEED gold-certified standards to create some of the finest spirits in the world. Bently Heritage Estate Distillery currently produces Juniper Grove Gin, Source One Vodka and Hecate Liqueur.
