Fall Favorites

Though it’s been decades since I attended any kind of school, the arrival of fall always prompts a desire to refresh and renew. That includes buying new stuff and trying new products that I might grow to love.

Trentodoc, the classical method sparkling wines of Trentino have a very rich history. Over 120 years ago, Guilo Ferrari pioneered sparkling winemaking in the region after identifying the possibility for the grapes exposed to the alpine conditions to create world class sparkling wines. In 1933, Trentodoc became Italy’s fully classified controlled designation of origin (DOC) for classic method bubbly and one of the first outside of Champagne. And the wines also speak for themselves!

Their Brut Riserva is a perfect example of bright fruit and bready flavors from over 36 months of aging on lees.
