How to Stay Dry All January and Beyond

How to Stay Dry All January and Beyond

Dry January is for those seeking a clean and healthy start to a new year. According to a study in the British Medical Journal, regular consumers of alcohol who abstain for at least 30 days realize they sleep better, have more energy, and lose weight. They also  noticed their their blood pressure and cholesterol levels lowered, plus there was a reduction of cancer-related proteins in their blood.

There are many new and improved non-alcohol spirits, wines, beers and apéritifs that will help you maintain a healthier lifestyle for the new year. Here are some of my favorites:

For wine drinkers, the way to survive Dry January is with SipClean Rose’ and their White Blend wine. SipC offers words of encouragement to fans ‘You don’t need to be a perfectionist here. Don’t think of it as slipping up if you have a glass of wine two weeks in. No need to throw in the towel! Just get back on it the next day. Remember that this is an exercise to help you become more mindful about drinking, not about being perfect.’

SipClean canned wines have the alcohol removed using a spinning cone technology pioneered in Australia. This innovative technique allows winemakers to separate and preserve the essential flavors and scents of the wine during the de-alcoholization process. The finished product has less calories, less sugar, and no alcohol. Each can offers only 35 calories and 3 grams of sugar.
