Mezcal is My New Pot o’ Gold

For a delicious twist on St. Patty’s Day try this variation on the Tipperary Cocktail. Originally named because the first bar patron to order it was said to have been humming “It’s a Long Road to Tipperary” an anthem of homesick Irish soldiers during WWI. 

“This new age take utilizes the Izo Mezcal which compliments the herbal structure that is offered by the vermouth and chartreuse, adding light smoke and a tropical fruit finish.” Says IZO Spirits mixologist Joree Weatherly.

• .75oz Paddy’s Irish Whiskey
• 1oz Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
• .5oz Green Chartreuse
• 2 Dash Angostura Bitters
• Orange Peel Expression
