The Fairmont Washington D.C. Santa Suite
Now through Sunday, Dec. 19, sleigh bells are ringing at the Fairmont Washington, D.C. Georgetown, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., when Santa checks into his D.C. residence to greet all who believe in the magic of the holiday season.
Gingerbread treats and sweets created by the hotel’s pastry team are available for all nice children and their parents who visit Santa’s Suite on a Saturday or Sunday in December.
For those who write and bring a letter to Santa, they can have it posted in his special red mailbox. Others can leave their wish list at the letter-writing station. Guests will receive a letter back from the postal service, rather than Santa in his sleigh.
The Fairmont’s official elves have been busy transforming his Suite into a whimsical winter wonderland. They decorated trees to brightly twinkle, and decked an elegant, mirrored dining table with place settings for Santa and his special guests.
Santa’s Suite is available for 15 minute family visits at no charge. Groups of 10 may tour his suite and share their Christmas wishes with Santa himself. Guests are encouraged to make a donation to Horton’s Kids during visits to give some Christmas cheer to those in need.
Small receptions of up to 25 guests can book the suite for a memorable holiday experience. Contact Fairmont’s Director of Magical Celebrations Carrow Rasberry at Carrow.Rasberry@Fairmont.com to learn more.
