Evan Todd Spa & Salon at Conrad Indianapolis

The Conrad Indianapolis has received the Top U.S. Hotel Reader’s Choice Award from Condé Nast Traveler Magazine. It is no surprise it would be home to Evan Todd Spa & Salon.

Spa owners, Evan Todd and Cindy Leuck, have over 25 years experience and success. Over twenty years ago, Evan Todd worked for AVEDA. He was stage assistant to founder, Horst Rechelbacher, for any on stage presentations. Cindy and Todd have included the AVEDA difference in their three day spas, Samson & Delilah, in Lafayette, Indiana; Evan Todd, in West Lafayette, Indiana; to Evan Todd, in Indianapolis.

Evan Todd Spa & Salon

Why stick with AVEDA products? They believe these all-natural products, “Nurture your spirit and rejuvenate your soul.”

When we were visiting Indy, we were staying at another hotel, but I was eager to see The Conrad and all its artwork, which was well worth the few blocks walk. But when I discover its day spa spread out on the sixth floor, I knew I needed to experience the spa.

Evan Todd Pool

Many downtown hotels have their spas squeezed into a tight area, but Evan Todd isn’t. It has an indoor pool with a roof that slides open during the summer, spa and salon services, a fitness center and saunas.

Facials and massages are based on an hourly rate that I found quite reasonable, compared to many spas I’d experienced in the past few years. The average Evan Todd price was $135 to $150, and there was one for $95. They also offered add-on eye treatments.

Evan Todd Couples Massage

Choices included: Elemental Nature, balances skin, stimulates cell renewal, and refines pores; Outer Peace Acne, soothes and calms acne, reduces blemishes and irritation; Green Science Renewing, lifts and firms the skin, reduces fine lines, and wrinkles, improves skin smoothness tone and clarity; Dual Exfoliating Facial, AVEDA’s newest facial, improves skin’s texture and clarity, increases radiance and smoothes appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving skin looking younger and more fresh; Enbrightment, visibly diminishes dark spots, hyper pigmentation, enhances luminosity and clarity; and Botanical Skin Resurfacing, smoothes skin, minimizes fine lines and refines pores.

Therapists are willing to recommend and adjust what is the best or would be most effective for your skin.

Evan Todd Nail Services

Full Salon services are also available.

Massages offered are adjusted to your needs.

My indulgence was a Deep Tissue Massage, followed by the Dual Exfoliating Facial. When scheduling allows, I prefer to get my massage first, as my back has so many muscle masses that need to be released. It can be a combination of pain and relief. A light massage doesn’t do anything for me. I need a therapist who will get in there and work. Fortunately, that is what I experienced.

After my massage, I was ready to go and relax with my facial. It was so soothing and wonderful I almost fell asleep. As a result, a short little rest on the lounge chair by the beautiful pool was in order.

Evan Todd

By the time I was ready to leave, my husband, Norm’s, meeting was over for the day. He walked down to join me at the Conrad’s wine bar, Tastings, “one of the world’s largest by-the-taste venues.” While trying a few varietals, we sat on the patio and watched the vibrant scene outside. I shared my experiences about my delightful afternoon.

Discovering the Conrad Hotel and the Evan Todd Spa and Salon in Indianapolis was a pleasant surprise. I’d like to thank Visit Indy, Conrad, and Evan Todd for my wonderful day.
