HALLOWEEN COCKTAILS: KRAKEN RUM [COCKTAIL TIME]

This spooky season, The Kraken is offering cocktails made with two types of boos, Gold Spiced Rum and Black Spiced Rum, perfect to serve or enjoy at all of your Halloween festivities.

Trick or treat yourself to the Kraken’s favorite cocktails – perfect for lifting your spirits this Halloween. Bold yet refreshing, The Kraken Rum’s seasonal Watermelon Jack–O-Lantern and Krak-O-Lantern recipes will have you spooked at how smooth they are with one sip. 

Take your pick from The Kraken Halloween cocktails below: 

Watermelon Jack-O-Lantern

Kraken - Watermelon Jack o Lantern

Ingredients: 

  • 2 Parts The Kraken Gold Spiced Rum 
  • 6 Parts Fresh Watermelon Juice
  • 1 Part Lime Juice
  • 1 Part Orange Liqueur 
  • Garnishes: Lime 

Combine all ingredients inside watermelon. Add ice, stir and pour into glass. Garnish and enjoy. 

Krak-O-Lantern

Krak-o-latern

Ingredients: 

  • 1 part Kraken® Black Spiced Rum
  • 1/2 part Brown Sugar Syrup
  • 1/4 part Allspice Dram
  • 1 tbsp. Pumpkin Butter or Canned Pumpkin Pie Filling
  • Top with Hot Water

Combine ingredients in a glass coffee mug. Top with hot water. Stir until pumpkin butter is incorporated. Garnish with grated cinnamon.

Kraken Bones Punch

Kraken Bones Punch

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum
  • 3 oz Pineapple Juice
  • Splash of Grenadine
  • Garnish: Bone shaped candies

Combine all ingredients  over ice in a shaker. Dump into glass and garnish with cherry and bone-shaped candies.

Krakaccino

Krakaccino

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz Kraken® Gold Spiced Rum
  • .05 oz Irish Cream
  • 1 oz Espresso
  • Whipped Cream
  • Garnish: Cinnamon Stencil of The Beast 

Combine all ingredients in a glass rimmed with chocolate sauce. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stencil of The Beast.

Kraken Colada Granita

Kraken Colada Granita

Ingredients: 

  • 1.5  oz Kraken Black Spiced Rum
  • 1 oz Condensed Milk
  • Powdered Charcoal
  • 1 Frozen Pineapple

Using a grater shave frozen pineapple chunks directly into glass. Combine rum, condensed milk, and charcoal for color and pour over top prior to serving.
